Man killed in Harnett County shooting

HARNETT COUNTY (WTVD) -- The Harnett County Sheriff's Office says a man shot along NC Highway 217 in the Erwin area has died.

Deputies said it happened around 4 a.m. Sunday.

The victim, 23-year-old Tevin Walker of Lillington, was taken by private vehicle to Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital and later transferred to another hospital.

He passed away Monday morning.
