Fayetteville, Astros break ground on new baseball stadium

FAYETTEVILLE, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Fayetteville city leaders and the Houston Astros broke ground Monday morning on a new downtown baseball stadium.

State and local elected officials along with representatives from Fort Bragg were on hand to put shovels in dirt and celebrate with hundreds of community members.

Construction begins next month.
