ST. LOUIS, Missouri (WTVD) -- Anheuser-Busch is delivering over 155,000 cans of emergency drinking water to communities affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Anheuser-Busch said an initial truckload was sent from Anheuser-Busch's Cartersville brewery in Georgia on Monday.

The Cartersville brewery periodically prepares canned drinking water throughout the year to be ready to help American communities in times of need, Anheuser-Busch said.

Anheuser-Busch said two more truckloads are being sent to an American Red Cross facility in Arlington, Texas and should arrive in the coming days.

Anheuser-Busch said that they have donated 74 million cans of emergency drinking water since 1988.
