Man proposes to girlfriend outside NY Eyewitness News studio

UPPER WEST SIDE -- An Eyewitness News viewer in New York City enlisted the help of meteorologist Amy Freeze to propose to his girlfriend on Friday.

Julian, a viewer from the Upper East Side, asked Amy, from ABC11's sister station WABC, to hold up a sign that read, "Alix, will you marry him?"

During their noon show, Amy held up the sign as the couple stood outside the studio.

After Alix saw the sign, Julian got down on one knee with ring in hand. She said yes!
