Instant friends! Two orphaned baby tigers brought together

WASHINGTON DC (WTVD) -- Two orphaned baby tigers from different families will grow up together as brothers at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.

One of the cubs, an endangered Sumatran tiger, came from the National Zoo in Washington DC on Monday after he was rejected by his mother.

There, he met a Bengal tiger cub, rescued during an alleged smuggling attempt at the Mexico border.

The two became instant friends, wrestling and jumping. On their second day together, keepers said they were sleeping and eating together.

Zoo keepers will closely watch them for the next day or so.
