CARY (WTVD) -- More than a million Americans live with Parkinson's Disease, a progressive movement disorder that worsens over time. The cause is unknown and while there's no cure, some treatment options help manage its symptoms.

On Sunday, October 1, the National Parkinson Foundation will hold its 5th Annual North Carolina Triangle Moving Day at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary. The fundraising event features a walk, as well as many other activities like dance, yoga, and boxing, designed to get people moving.

The NC Triangle Moving Day will run from noon to 3 pm.
