The charges against the Cary man keep piling up and now include five churches.

Nicolas Losito, 28, has a lengthy criminal record including nearly 50 convictions for felony breaking and entering.

Since mid-September, he is accused in 10 breaking-and-entering cases - five of them at churches across Wake County.

One church - New Bethel Baptist near Garner - was hit especially hard. Items worth more than $13,000, mostly musical equipment and instruments, were stolen.

Other churches also lost cash and computers. But all the representatives of churches ABC11 spoke with Wednesday said they hold no animosity against the suspect.

"No. That's a waste of time," said church member Regina Alexander. "We're not taught to do that. We're taught to forgive and carry on."

In fact, members of the Word of Truth Church and St. Barnabas next door consider the break-ins a blessing. They say the two churches had never gotten together before and now they've decided to sponsor youth programs together.
