Elderly man pulled from sinking car in Florida

PANAMA CITY, Florida -- An 89-year-old man is safe and sound, thanks to the quick work of the Coast Guard in Florida.

A video was taken minutes after the man drove directly into the water near Panama City.

The Coast Guard was nearby, saw what happened, and quickly jumped into action.

Rescuers were able to break the man's window and pull him from the car.

Police said the man suffered a medical issue that caused him to drive into the water.
