Durham police say three teens who allegedly placed a "Drano bomb" on a city bus Tuesday night have turned themselves in.

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police say three teens who allegedly placed a "Drano bomb" on a city bus Tuesday night have turned themselves in.

Demetrius Walton, 18, of Eva Street, Jaquan Marquise Cobb, 17, of East Main Street and Christopher Lewis, 18, of Commerce Street, are all charged with attempted malicious use of an explosive device to damage property.

Surveillance video showed three teens placing a plastic bottle on the bus, which eventually set off a small explosion.

Hazmat crews were brought in and streets blocked off while police investigated.

The only passenger on the bus was shaken up, but not injured.
