Durham Police investigate fatal shooting on Eva Street

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- Durham Police investigated a fatal shooting Friday night in the 700 block of Eva Street near Railroad Street.

An ABC11 crew at the scene said it appeared that a man had been shot in the chest.

An ambulance rushed the victim from the scene. Police said the man died from his injuries.

The shooting call came in at 9:09 p.m.

The case remains under investigation.
