VIDEO: Dog performs CPR in mock demonstration

Dogs are a man's best friend. They can also be a lifesaver.

The Madrid Police Department shared a video of Poncho performing CPR on his handler during a mock demonstration.

In the video, the dog pounces up and down repeatedly on the officer's chest.

He even places his ear by the man's neck to detect whether he was breathing.

At the end, Poncho received a well-deserved treat.
