All clear given after suspicious package call at Raleigh post office

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The Raleigh Fire Department responded to a suspicious package at the Post Office on Lake Dam Road Friday afternoon.

ABC11 has learned that a woman received a package with no return address and a powder inside.

She was concerned and called authorities immediately.

Hazmat responded as well as the Raleigh Police Department.

Crews checked the package and tested the powder and found it was not a hazardous substance. It turned out to be candy.
