CREEDMOOR, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police in Creedmoor were called to a SunTrust branch for a bank robbery late Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 5 p.m. at the bank in the 200 block of South Main Street.

Police said a black male suspect dressed as an elderly female entered the bank and passed a note to the teller demanding money.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 20-30 years old, with a thin build. He weighed 130 -160 pounds and stood 5'7" to 5'9" tall.

He was wearing a blue jean dress, red long sleeve under shirt, red gloves, grey bedroom slippers, a black purse, glasses, and a black, long ladies wig.
