Balcony collapses at Weldon motel

WELDON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A balcony collapsed at a motel in Weldon Sunday morning.

At around 8 a.m. a roughly 20-foot section of the balcony gave way at the Weldon Econo Lodge.

Authorities did not know what caused it.

No one was hurt in collapse and the building is now condemned.
