Body found in Harnett County

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Homicide investigators in Harnett County are on the case after a body was found in Spring Lake Wednesday night.

It happened just before 10 p.m. at a strip mall along Ray Road.

Deputies said they got a call about shots fired and found 18-year-old Eric Kentrall Staten, of Spring Lake, shot to death.

Police have released a video clip of an unidentified suspect. They are interested in any information about the car seen driving through the parking lot in the video.

No arrests have been made.
