Body found in Moore County swamp identified

ABERDEEN, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities have identified the woman's body found in a Moore County swamp last week.

Officials said the body of 47-year-old Amy Sands was found at the end of Sun Road in Aberdeen Friday afternoon.

Police said Sands went missing Nov. 4.

Foul play is not suspected in Sands' death.

The investigation is ongoing.
