JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Raleigh cable installer is accused of stealing a diamond ring from a Johnston County home.

Russell Wright Jr., 42, is charged with felony larceny.

Police say a Johnston County man told them a diamond ring worth $2,700 was missing from his house after Wright left his home.

Wright doesn't work for Time Warner Cable, but is employed by a contractor who is authorized to install cable for the company.

At last report, Wright remained in the Johnston County Jail under a $20,000 bond.
