Car hits power pole in southern Wake County

WILLOW SPRING, N.C. (WTVD) -- The North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a serious crash on Elbridge Drive near Rock Service Station Road in southern Wake County - east of Willow Spring.

Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed a car on its roof after apparently smashing into a power pole.

There was no immediate word on injuries.
