Cary man allegedly beats mechanic with golf club

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A Cary man is accused of using a golf club to try to beat a refund out of a mechanic.

Rucan Huang is charged with kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon.

Durham police said Huang found the mechanic on Craigslist and was not happy with the repairs made to his car.

They say Huang lured him to a business on Davis Drive in Research Triangle Park.

Huang then took the mechanic's car keys and beat him with the club.

The victim had cuts and bruises. Huang is now in the Durham County Jail.
