Child on bike hit by car in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A child on a bicycle was hit by a car Wednesday evening in Durham.

It happened on North Roxboro Street near Liberty Street.

The force of the impact shattered the car's windshield.

The boy, who hasn't been identified, was believed to have suffered a serious head injury.

There's no word on whether any charges will be filed.
