Coyote hit by car, stuck in bumper

WAUKEGAN, Ill. -- A coyote is recovering Monday night after it got stuck in a bumper in north suburban Waukegan, Illinois.

People noticed the animal trapped in the front of the vehicle at a train station parking lot and called animal control.

The driver says he didn't know the animal was there.

The coyote is resting at a wildlife center with leg fractures.

On the wildlife center's Facebook page, the coyote was named Vern.
