Crash closes Hwy 98 east of Durham

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- A crash on Highway 98 near North Mineral Springs Road closed the highway in both directions Tuesday afternoon.

Pictures from Chopper 11 showed a white work van had taken down a power pole.

A power line was stretched across the road.

Officials got the power line off the highway and the road reopened just before 5 p.m.
