DURHAM (WTVD) -- The letter "A" is at the center of a safety issue in Durham.
Crews at the Durham County Courthouse were forced to rope off an area near the entrance Tuesday morning because of a problem 60 feet up above.
The "A" in the word "Durham" appeared to be on the verge of falling from the building after one of the three bolts holding it to the building was damaged. The letter is 42 inches high and is 3 feet wide.
A three inch bolt will be used to secure the leaning letter back to the building Wednesday.
