Deputies say surveillance video shows Durham burglary
DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham County Sheriff's Office is looking for two men it says were caught on surveillance video breaking into a Durham home.
It happened Tuesday around 1 p.m. in the 7200 block of Kemp Road.
The pair seemed to know they were being filmed as they tried to cover their faces with their hands.
But at least one camera caught a clear image of one of the men.
The homeowner, Justin Welch, said Tuesday's break-in was the second time thieves targeted his home in the last two years. After the first time, he had the home surveillance system installed.
"It's frustrating, you know?" said Welch. "I'd like to think we could respect each other's property and things but that obviously doesn't happen anymore."
He's now hoping the video leads to arrests.
"At the end of the day, you get what you deserve," he said.
