FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police have identified another suspect in a murder that happened last month in Fayetteville.
Police responded to the 3030 block of Enterprise Avenue around 8 p.m. on Sept. 20 because of a report of shots fired. When they got there, they found 36-year-old Desmond Deron Smith near the woods behind an apartment building.
On Thursday, police charged 28-year-old Shalonda McLellan with first-degree murder, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, and conspiracy to sell and deliver cocaine. Detectives are still searching for McLellan.
Police arrested Abu-Bakr Abdur Rahman, 33, on Sept. 26 in connection with the crime. He is charged with first-degree murder.
