DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Durham man facing charges of burglary and first-degree arson is in jail under a $250,000 bond.

Police say Johnathan Robert Warda has turned himself in to police.

Investigators believe he broke into an apartment on Chapel Hill Road, and set several fires in the apartment.

They say Warda had been evicted from the apartment several days earlier.

The fires damaged the apartment, police say, but did not spread to other apartments.
