DURHAM (WTVD) -- The Durham Police Department says it has arrested one of two men seen in surveillance video earlier this month taking hundreds of dollars' worth of lawn care equipment from the backyard of a home.

In the video, one man is seen casually strolling up to the front door and ringing the bell, waiting to see if anyone answers.

The men, thinking the house was empty, walked over to a shed and broke in. They got away with a leaf blower, a weed eater, and a hedge trimmer. In all, they stole about $600 worth of tools.

Boyd Leon Browder, 35, of Durham, was arrested Thursday night in the 900 block of Holloway Street on one count of breaking and entering, one count of larceny after breaking and entering and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was placed in Durham County Jail under a $15,000 bond.

The second suspect has not been identified.
