Durham police investigate 2 armed robberies

DURHAM, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating two armed robberies that happened Friday night just minutes apart.

The first robbery happened at the Circle K on Fayetteville Road and Woodcroft Parkway. No one was hurt.

The second happened 20 minutes later at the BP store on Alston Avenue and N.C. 54.

Durham police have not said if they believe the robberies are connected.

No arrests have been made.
