Durham police search for missing 20-month-old child

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police investigators are trying to locate a missing 20-month-old child named Andre Thompson Jr.

Police say the child is described as a black male weighing approximately 28 pounds.

He may possibly be in Durham or in Southport, N.C., accompanied by his mother, 24-year-old Dreama Ferguson, or his father, 38-year-old Andre Thompson.

Neither parent has legal custody of the child at this time, according to the Durham County Department of Social Services.
