Durham police say rape did not happen

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police say a sexual assault that was reported early Tuesday in the 4700 block of Hope Valley Road did not occur.

A woman reported she was waiting for a ride shortly after midnight when a man dragged her behind a business and sexually assaulted her.

Police said the woman will not face charges.
