WEST LOS ANGELES -- Los Angeles police are searching for two women who posed as maids seeking work as part of a scheme to burglarize several homes in West Los Angeles.

Video surveillance shows the women knocking on the doors of several homes. If the homeowners did not answer, the women would call male suspects who would proceed to burglarize the home, police said.

Police believe these are the same suspects in a residential burglary on Aug. 29 that occurred in the 15000 block of Hamner Drive.

During that burglary, a suspect was caught taking a selfie on surveillance video.

The suspect's car is described as a white, newer model Buick Enclave.
