Missing Wake County man
Donald Lyle

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Family members are pleading with the public to help them find 49-year-old Donald Etheridge Lyle.

He was last seen Thursday, March 10 around 6:30 a.m. leaving Fuquay-Varina.

Lyle stands 5 feet 11 inches tall. He weighs 185 pounds. He has blue eyes and salt and pepper hair.

His sister, Cindy Lyle, stopped by the ABC11 Eyewitness News Center in downtown Raleigh to share her story.

She said her brother borrowed her orange jeep because his truck was broken down.

Donald Lyle was last seen in this orange Jeep

Jeep Description:

NC Plate - NEW BLK

The Jeep has a "Save the Headlights" spare tire cover from Southern Jeep, Greenbrier, Norfolk.

Cindy Lyle said he's married with children and his family and neighbors have been looking for him for a week.

She said they were able to get a hit off the transponder on the Jeep at I-540 to U.S. 64. They believe he, or at least the Jeep, was heading toward the Charlotte area.

"I'm lost, can't sleep, just miss my brother," said Cindy. "If anybody sees him, please call us, we need him home."
