Family says video shows porch thieves north of Wake Forest
WAKE FOREST, NC -- Kevin Mamuscia doesn't really know what to make of it. It's not a lot of money.
"It was a welcome sign up here, you can actually see where they took it off," he said.
Mamuscia said the welcome sign and a wooden pedestal were stolen off his porch on Genesis Lane in Granville County just north of Wake Forest.
"The unfortunate thing about the pedestal, that was actually one of my first high school woodshop projects," he said.
A neighbor says his lawn lights were stolen around the same time. The Granville County Sheriff's Office said they were the only two theft reports filed over the weekend.
Mamuscia said video shows two young women who appear to be the thieves and now he wants to get the word out.
"I think it's more the fact they were so sneaky about it and were able to invade that perimeter of comfort around the house," he said.
