FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A Fayetteville mental health facility was vandalized Wednesday evening.

The damage to the Evergreen Behavioral Management included a spray-painted van fleet of at least five vehicles, spray painted windows, and sugar in the van gas tanks. The facility is located on Legend Avenue.

Fayetteville police say the damage was discovered by an officer who was on patrol duty just after 11 p.m. Wednesday.

The spray painted messages read "U B------" and "I hate U."

Staff and management opened for regular business Thursday as they began to clean the damage.

Management declined to comment on the incident, but said they had not received any threats or had any recent problems with anyone.
