Fayetteville Police Department unveils new website

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department has a brand new look - and better ways - for people to get information. Police unveiled a new website for the community to find everything the department is doing as part of their One Campaign.

The new website goes along with their slogan, "One Agency. One Community. One Family."

"It embraces our great community and it serves as a reminder of the relationship we have with the citizens here in Fayetteville," said Police Chief Harald Medlock.

Police said the new site is light years ahead of the old one, which everyone admitted was antiquated and hard to navigate.

Medlock said he hopes the new site will be able to inform and even warn people of danger. I can also help get information and confidential tips.
