Fayetteville police search for suspect in armed robbery at Family Dollar

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery in Fayetteville.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. Saturday at the Family Dollar on Person Street.

Police say a man walked into the store waving a gun before demanding money. After getting the cash, he ran off towards B. Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with FLORIDA printed in orange letters, camouflage pants and tan work boots.
