Fayetteville police searching for chase suspect

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police are searching for a suspect who led authorities on a chase Friday night.

It started near Methodist University just after 11 p.m.

Police said a driver hit a cop car with a pickup truck and then drove away.

The truck eventually stopped in the neighborhood near Law Road and Ontra Drive and the driver was able to get away.

Authorities said the truck was stolen.
