FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police have made an arrest in connection with last week's murder at the Quality Automotive on Pamalee Drive.

Police have charged 48-year-old Abrose Dumone Murray with the murder of his former boss, Joseph Wallace.

Wallace was found dead Wednesday at Quality Automotive. Police said two cars and three dealer license plates were taken from the lot. One of the stolen cars was found prior to the discovery of Wallace's murder, though.

The stolen Toyota Camry was found burned on a dead-end road in Fayetteville one day before Wallace was found.

Police arrested Murray Saturday evening. Officers later found the other stolen car, a black BMW, in the 200 block of Person Street. The Independent Dealer Plates have not been recovered.

Murray is charged with first-degree murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon, and larceny of motor vehicle.

Murray is being held at the Cumberland County Detention Center without bond.
