RALEIGH (WTVD) --Family and friends gathered Monday to remember a 13-year-old Apex boy who was killed in a car crash in Wilson's Mills earlier this month.
The viewing for Trevion Daniels took place at noon at Chappell's Funeral Home in Raleigh, followed by his funeral.
The family was struggling to find money to cover the costs, but donations poured in once the family's plight was featured on ABC11.
Trevion's father said the funeral home was flooded with checks and cash.
On Friday, a counselor at Lufkin Road Middle School said the staff raised $1,000 for the teen's funeral arrangements.
