RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Some streets were shut down after construction workers hit a 2-inch gas line in downtown Raleigh on Hargett Street between Wilmington and Blount near Moore Square Thursday afternoon.
Pictures from an ABC11 crew on the scene showed gas and dust spewing from a hole in the sidewalk.
The gas line was reported shut off around 2 p.m.
