Gunshot victim collapses on Durham resident's porch

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating after a gunshot victim collapsed on someone's front porch Saturday morning.

Police said it happened just before 4 a.m. on House Avenue, which is near Duke University.

Crews on the scene told ABC11 the man was shot and collapsed on the porch a short time later. He was taken to the hospital.

There's been no word on his condition or if police are looking for a suspect.
