Halifax County man charged with 2 counts of bigamy

HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The search is on for a man who has been to the altar too many times.

Halifax County deputies said 50-year-old Tony Hilliard has been married three times, but never divorced.

They say he was first married in 1989, and then remarried twice.

Hilliard has ties to Enfield and the Rocky Mount areas.

He's charged with bigamy.
