What does the Raleigh Sustainability Department do?

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Downtown Raleigh has examples of sustainability all around. Old buildings have been repurposed into something, and there are even new solar powered trash cans.

In fact, being green is so high on Raleigh's list that it just hired a new sustainability manager for the $500,000 a year department.
