Man charged with calling in bomb threat to Raleigh school

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A 39-year-old Raleigh man has been charged with phoning in a bomb threat to a Raleigh middle school.

Police say Carlos Dontherell King called in a threat to Carnage Magnet Middle School around 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The school was briefly evacuated.

King is charged with filing a false report for mass violence on educational property, filing a false bomb report to a public building, and with communicating threats.

He is in the Wake County Jail under an $80,000 bond.
