CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a shooting in Chapel Hill that sent one man to the hospital.
It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of East Franklin Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found Steven Charles Moore Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound.
Moore was transported to UNC Hospital. His wounds are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Police located the suspected shooter, Ledarren Deshawn Parker, a short distance from the scene.
Parker, 18, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and resisting arrest.
He is currently being held in the Orange County Jail under a $15,000 bond.
