Man shot along New Bern Avenue in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating after a man was shot in the 1600 block of New Bern Avenue.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say the victim was taken to WakeMed by private vehicle.

His injuries appeared to be non-life threatening.
