Man shot outside Weaver Street apartments in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham Police are investigating after a man was shot Thursday evening.

It happened outside an apartment building in the 3000 block of East Weaver Street, off Cornwallis Road.

Police said the call came in about 9:45 p.m. They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. His identity and condition were not immediately available.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police have no information about a suspect or possible motive.

The case remains under investigation.
