A man was stabbed in Fayetteville on Sunday

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police said a man was stabbed after an alleged domestic dispute on Sunday evening.

Officers said it happened around 7 p.m. at 625 Devoe Avenue in the Cross Creek Pond mobile home park.

Police responded to a call about a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, police found a man who had been stabbed once in the stomach.

The victim was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where he is listed in serious condition.

Detectives are investigating the stabbing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

It is not yet known if the suspect is facing charges.
