Mom of missing Virginia teen faces abduction charges, with 2 others

BENSON (WTVD) -- The mother of a missing Virginia teen is in the Triangle awaiting extradition as she faces abduction charges.

Denise Shaver was arrested Sunday, along with Kevin Parrish and Kayla Hoy. All three are facing abduction charges.

Shaver is the biological mother of 15-year-old Dustin Shaver, who disappeared last week from Hurt, Virginia.

The teen was found Sunday morning safe in Benson.

Shaver and Parrish are being held in the Johnston County Jail.

Hoy is being held in Wake County.
