STADIUM DEMOLITION

The old press box at Kyle Field on the campus of Texas A&M was demolished over the weekend.

The university in College Station is making way for new west stands that will include luxury suites.

The $450 million renovation should be finished by the 2015 season.

SATANIC DISPLAY

The Detroit chapter of the Satanic Temple has set up a "Snaketivity Scene" featuring a snake in response to a nativity scene that was placed on the capitol lawn in Lansing last week.

Officials say both displays will be allowed to stay up over the holidays and they hope it sparks dialogue about freedom of religion.

POLISH CHRISTMAS DISPLAY

A family in western Poland has set that country's record for having the most number of Christmas lights.

They've decked out their home with more than 60,000 Christmas bulbs.

They started putting up festive decorations 17 years ago.

SANTA TO THE RESCUE

Christmas came early for one family in Australia. A group of firefighters were handing out candy to local children on their annual Christmas drive when they smelled smoke coming from a nearby house and jumped into action.

One firefighter, still dressed in his Santa suit, had to perform CPR on a man pulled from the fire. That man is now expected to make a full recovery.
